The Wren - Refillable Pen
The Wren - Refillable Pen
I bought a Wren when it launched, sick of the constant cycle of buying and discarding unpleasant plastic ballpoint pens, and I have been amazed at how much I love my Wren. It writes beautifully, feels great - even luxurious - in the hand, and when it's capped, it's small enough for the smallest pocket.
Take Flight & Write A beautiful and infinitely refillable writing pen, equipped with a Japanese-made writing tip.
Every year, millions of disposable pens are thrown-away, adding to the growing environmental waste. Tom thought it was about time to tackle one of the biggest culprits: the everyday writing pen. The result?
The Wren—a pen designed not only to write beautifully but also to last a lifetime, helping to reduce the mountains of waste created by disposable pens.

My Wren arrived earlier this week and it's already my main writing pen for taking notes. Really lovely feel, and nice to fidget with when you're not writing but stuck in a meeting. The writing angle on it is good too, not so vertical as you find with fineliners (it's to replace a Sakura PN which doesn't do so well with natural writing positions).
Easy to refill, and the sample ink that comes with it is a lovely dark grey blue colour. Raspberry is a very hot pink, which stands out (and fits in with more accessories on my desk than I realised).
It all arrived very fast (next business day!) and well packaged. A good gift for yourself or anyone who does a lot of (or a little) writing.
These are beautiful pens and really feel like a gift to yourself. It's also really nice to buy something that isn't disposable with the act of refilling the pen being incredibly satisfying itself. The feel of the pen is lovely whether you're writing with it or you've capped it. It's a pen you really want to use and I'm hoping it will help me re-establish a habit of writing my notes on paper as a change from typing everything
